Lift in India and world and their electricity consumption.

Hello friends-

I am using lift in my daily routine, minimum 20 times / day. one day i thought if i reduce the number of lift use, i can save more energy for my nation. I had also gone through various resources about Lift and their use--  http://www.lift-report.de/index.php/news/464/56/Lifts-Energy-Consumption-Study from 2010. It is suggestive of  Lifts energy consumption typically represents 3 to 8 % of the total energy consumption of buildings, depending on the structure and usage of the building, the type and number of lifts. Although the amount is relatively small for an individual building, the aggregate is large taking into account the 8.5 million lifts in operation worldwide. This study describes the work has been done by the lift industry worldwide in terms of bibliography, papers, standardization, etc and also focuses on the energy measurements in the most common lift types.

In the same way I observed that false calling of lift in many developing countries. For ex if a person wish to travel to 10th floor and he is on 6th floor of building, which arrow he should use ? He is unaware of this , so he uses both arrows. This causes to lift go in both direction. Once he get in lift, he calls 10th floor. so lift goes to 10th floor. And then lift came down to 6th floor because Lift got an order for downward movement also.  So waste of energy at this place. And listen my friends , it happen to literate people only. Due to lack of knowledge of Lift calling or false information they got. Then how to tackle with this problem and save energy ?

A above picture will be beneficial to false calling. what we need to do. I was discussing with My friends , one of them suggested that-Dr.Chetan Pophale --we should give inside lift calling  panel to outside of lift , and everyone should press only the floor which they want to go. Can be this a option ?

And one thing i want to put forth in front of you that, Lift's are used in Apartment's , Offices , Hotel's and many other places which are run for Upper economic class and upper middle economic  class. Lower economic class and lower middle economic class most of these people are unaware of Lift and their use. One thing i could add that we should add some basic's of life subject in school. which doesn't carry pass or fail stamp, and it should be taught practically once a week.

As I work in hospital, I had seen many of the peoples are relatives , which had a target in front of their eye's or a task to accomplish them. In such situation they tend to false calling of lift. If we are able to provide a security Guard to instruct them , then we can save some amount of energy.

I appeal to engineering friends, to uplift this is issue and make some innovative that will help entire country and humanity.

Do it ...

Many things to be done in life....these word's are often heard by me. During my daily practice , i came across many people's had such sentence in their mind. I was thinking , what this sentence stands for them. Is it a way to say good bye to life ? Is it a way to get confidence by your doctor ? Or Is it a way to ask a person to get me out of this ?

What a life stands for that person ?
For a labourer - His wife, children's and entire family need his life.
For a Wife- Don't' wan a die before her soulmate.
For a husband- A young one- want to enjoy with her wife and newcomers in life.
For a sport's man - Wan to achieve new goal.
For a Teacher- Need to question doctor that r u a handful one to help him out.
And For a doctor- lack of knowledge in that aspect.

after all this i got a point that every human being had a fear in mind, and that is death with unexpected way.

when you had a talk with alcoholic or any addicted pt - he use to say one or another day you need to go, then why to stop enjoying---then why you are wasting time, a ask them to go now, when a person smoke , his/ her expectorant-that fog will affect other 10 peoples around him. And he said , who are you to say stop this ? and when he came back to me with chronic cough , then i ask him who M I.

Hello friends,
Today i was busy with my work, during that time i realised - Impact of traditions over senior citizen. A 90 year old, male patient came to hospital for back pain. He was not cautious for his pain, but happy that DHOL-

A music instrument that played in Ganapati festival in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He said that, he is feeling relaxed as Ganapati festival is over now. Then i realised what is the impact of a DHOL and its sound on IHD patients... will we think about it.

Regarding Anna Hajare Movement, we seen lot of enthusiasm. At that time i told to my friends that won't last more than 1/2 months. Because, people were out of home due to, do something that happening in Egypt and else. Outcome was good but won't last more than 2 months.Just now reading a one more book in Marathi language- Eka Dishecha Shodha. Good one, and most of us should read it.The world will change when we change ourselves. Jai Bharat.

India should think it practically....

A recent, coward attack at LOC by Pakistani Army put some question's in front of Indian Government. Whatever steps taken after 1999 war between India(winner) & Pakistan(loser), seems to go in vain. Reasons were simple, we don't like them & they didn't like us. Pakistan Army brutally killed two Jawans of Indian Army( as the earlier record shows their behavior with Indian Army men during Kargil war), Indian Army & GOI reply it with killing three Army personnel of Pakistan(as Pakistan says). I am not a good analyzer, but could say we(Indian Government), should think what measures should be taken to avoid such conflict and wastage of time in our road to super power in 2020.
We lost our two Jawans, engaged our whole administration in this process, fear of Nuclear attack, tension rising for riots in Muslim community, exchange of words, sidelined important issues like water crisis, basic needs and many things. One thing I definitely coat here that whole citizen of India came to know about  the rural road conditions in India, when Lance Naik Hemraj Singh village near Mathura came into picture. But, for this we should not loss our Indian, a brave Indian Soldier. As i think, we should now concentrate on all round progress in our Nation. That attack had a political background, a scoop by Pakistani military( news analysis), and our two soldiers lost their life. I, personally remind a news report when Pakistan cricket team traveled on Pune-Mumbai expressway, they coated that they never seen such roads in their country. I think, such ways would pave way to calm the tensions on border, it might took long time. we should invite their sports persons, news editors, authors, politicians, key persons to look what your elder brother did in 65 yrs and where you are? why are you wasting your time in terrorism and ethnic bindings. Bcoz, i personally  feel that, these two countries got too much talent than anywhere in world. And both of them should give them proper direction. With all citizens of India, i criticizes act of Pakistani Army. In last 4 wars, Pakistan Army came to know that they wont win against Indian Army in Face-To-Face battle, so they started infiltration. catching faith of domestic parties is a need of time, making the domestic players from North-east India & J&K to represent India at International level, I know Indian Government is working towards it, but lacking time limit. It is of no use when a Sarpanch(representative of village) lost his life. We should think of it. Naxalism is another problem and we are working towards it in a good progressive way(news analysis). And, one thing came to focus that Political Parties lack interest in drought areas( news analysis), but they should remind, due to unwillingness we lost a brave battle with china. Indian People & Indian Air force will not let it go from their mind.
Just wan request to all politicians to show their real love towards their nation and work in that manner. As Chanakya said, Country is known by its politicians.....so you(Politicians) need to change as time is changing.
     Thanking You.
Swapnil S Kadam.

When traveled through memories of mind

once, i was sitting with my nephew, on busy road, in Thane,Maharashtra. He just asked me a question regarding experience of mine towards my life, up til now and a way forward. And i fallen back to old days.
just to an age of 6 yrs old.
when i was in a school, nearby my home, in Pandharpur, Dist.Solapur. i was very angry during these days. i left KG school due to ill behavior one of the teacher, distinguishes me from my friends, on the basis of caste,as i was a Maratha and school belongs to Bramhins. i left that school after completion of senior KG and joined Pradnya Prathamika School nearby that our house. i studied well there and conquered good marks. then moved to DHK high school, Pandharpur. there also i was distinguished from bramhin students and i found jealous about them. These two impressions remain on my mind up till now. but that was a society and now things are changed. but during those days, my best friend was also a bramhin, and i never came to feel about that.  days had gone to memories of life.
but the real days lies in professional career. i had taken admission to BAMS SDMT's AMC Terdal. and it changed my life. i came to close with society, that village doesn't have proper sanitation, water crisis, low level of livelihood and many other things. i started thinking and tried my best to make friends in that small village. they were auto driver, taxi driver, shopkeeper, cushion maker, tailor, hotelier and many other. i asked  them, how they could live with such things. i personally meet their homes and found that they don't have sufficient money to conclude their daily requirements  i fallen back with empty hands. then i was busy with own curricular works and studies. one day, i got invitation from friends home, regarding a dinner program-me  and i went for that. there i fond some people interested with i wish to speak. that was a community program-me  i told them about their ill health this lack of sanitation is one thing and we need to change our selves for that. meetings after meetings occurred and they decided to save some money to built a toilet for everyone's family, after two long year a, these ten family's build up a toilet for themselves.and i remained with a question that why i didn't gave my 100% to this work?
so the life starts and i decide to switch myself into civil service exam preparation......
